Anjum Chopra’s love affair with cricket began when she was just 9 years old.

After representing the inter-college team, she was straightaway drafted in the Delhi U-15 team and after which, she never looked back.

She made her international debut at the age of 17 against the New Zealand Women’s cricket team in 1995. Chopra was an all timing player and her strength was to find the gaps and deft touches.
