Costas Douzinas (born 1951) is a Greek professor of law and Director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities at Birkbeck, University of London and a politician.

Biography
Douzinas was educated in Athens during the Colonels dictatorship. He left Greece in 1974 and continued his studies in London, where he received a Masters and PhD from the LSE and, in Strasbourg, where he received the degree for teachers of Human Rights. Douzinas joined Birkbeck College in 1992 to set up its School of Law.
He was Head of Department from 1996 to 2002. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities from 2002 to 2008.
