Nicholas James Mosby (born 1978) is an American politician who was the president of the Baltimore City Council from 2020 to 2024. First elected to serve on the city council from 2011 to 2016, Mosby was subsequently appointed in 2017 to the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Baltimore City's 40th District.
He was elected as Baltimore City Council president in November 2020, assuming the role in December of that year.

Mosby ran for a second term in 2024, but was defeated in the Democratic primary by city councilmember Zeke Cohen.
Early life
Mosby was born in the Northwood neighborhood of Baltimore.[4] He attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute where he participated in debate team and served as the student council president.[5] According to classmates, Mosby aspired to be mayor while still in high school.[6]
